S1 Skipathon
The S1 Skipathon was a huge success and the pupils have raised a phenomenal £4,294.37. The classes were in competition to see who could raise the most:
1st place – 1a10 – £9142nd place – 1a5 – £782 3rd place – 1a2 – £719
1a10 will have the opportunity to go to Alton Towers at the end of the school year for their fantastic efforts. The individual pupils in S1 who raised over £50 will also get this same opportunity. The monies raised will benefit all pupils in the department with the purchase of new equipment that will enhance the pupils learning experience, for example, two new treadmills have been purchased for the fitness suite. Again a huge well done and thank you from the PE Department to all pupils who took part and contributed.
