Online safety
Online safety has always been an area of great importance however with the increased amount of time that children are spending online, it has become even more imperative that we take steps to protect our children to keep them safe from risk, harm or getting into trouble when online.
Online safety is a topic which is covered in PSHE across all of the age groups. In addition to this, please find attached a document provided by our Campus Police Officer, Johnny Waters, to support you to monitor and educate your son or daughter with a view to keep them safe online.
He also recommends the Think u Know website: www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents/Support-tools/home-activity-worksheets. This is an excellent resource providing short videos and activities for a variety of age groups that you can use with your son or daughter.
