Important Road Closure Notice
Notice for parents and carers.
There is an upcoming road closure at Glasgow Road, Waterfoot from 7 to 15.2.19 inclusive.
This closure will affect the return journey on Thu 7.2.19 and both the morning and afternoon journeys on 13 to 15.2.19. The school has an in-service day and midterm break from 8 to 12.2.19 inclusive.
The affect is that the pupils who reside in Craighlaw Avenue area of Waterfoot would require to board and alight their bus at a revised location at an earlier time, and pupils who reside in Brackenrigg area would require to board the bus across the road from current pick up point on Glasgow Road at an earlier time – revised pick up/ set down is at bus stop on Glasgow Road at Windhill Park, this must be east side of Glasgow Road where the pavement is situated on both an and pm journeys, and Glasgow Road at Brackenrigg area (copy of road closure attached).
Pupils MUST BE at this location prior to 0755 hrs (this is an earlier time than current uplift times) as the bus would not be able to wait at this location.
