The Boys’ Brigade – Queen’s Badge Success
Congratulations to Jonny Blair (S6) and Mark McLaughlin (S5), members of 86th Glasgow Boys’ Brigade Company who have achieved the award of Queen’s Badge, the highest award in The Boys’ Brigade. Each successful Queen’s Badge candidate has to complete a range of activities including developing interests such as physical wellbeing with expedition and personal skills. The boys also took on a leadership role within the BB or church and volunteered within the community. Jonny and Mark were presented with their awards by Bobby Watson, former Scottish football international and current chairman of Airdrie FC, at a ceremony in the City Chambers on Thursday.
