Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service Public Speaking Competition
Amina and Caterina (both S3) were competing in the North Strathclyde semi-final of the ‘Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service Public Speaking Competition’ at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last night.
The girls had to deliver speeches on the thought-provoking topic – “Not a child, not yet a grown-up –when should the law treat young people as adults?” Both girls delivered sterling performances which allowed them to beat competition from Stewarton Academy and Auchenharvie Academy to secure a place in the North Strathclyde final at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday 29th March.
We wish the girls the very best of luck!
