Allan Glen Tribute Lecture
A group of our S5 pupils attended the University of Strathclyde this afternoon for the Allan Glen Tribute Lecture, Air Pollution and Health – Engineering a Miracle. Doctor Kenneth Anderson, a Consultant Respiratory Physician, addressed the inter-dependency between medical science and engineering. The purpose of the lecture was to expand understanding of the role that engineering plays in what may appear to be totally unrelated fields, and to share information about financial assistance at the University of Strathclyde from the Allan Glen’s Endowment Scholarship Trust.
