Scottish China Education Network
On the 27th of November, SCEN (Scotland China Education Network) held its annual conference at Heriot Watt University.
The event was a great success, and pupils were given an opportunity to watch performances and listen to talks from a large host of people involved with the organisation.
Our pupils performed a Chinese presentation, a Chinese song and dance called Good Fortune at the conference. The pupils had been working extremely hard to master the routine in the preceding days and it was a delight for all to see their dedication come to fruition. The school would like to wholeheartedly congratulate all involved with this tremendous performance. Well done!
If any pupil would like to attend next year’s conference, they are more than welcome to get involved with our Confucius classroom and help with SCEN’s goal to promote mandarin learning.
