To the Staff and Customers of Morrisons Newlands

On Saturday 7 June a group of our pupils attended your store to take part in a bag pack.  The group involved organise and participate in regular fundraising events to raise money for a number of different charities nominated by the pupils.  Some examples of the charities include:

SANDs – stillbirth & neonatal death
CHAS – a children’s hospice
Zoë’s Place – a baby hospice
Cerebra – a charity set up to help improve the lives of children with brain related conditions
Life Scotland – a pro-life charity that provides practical and emotional support to anyone facing a crisis pregnancy or pregnancy loss

The aim of the group is to support life at all stages.  Some examples of the group’s fundraising activities include: an annual Mothers Day afternoon tea, raffles, coffee mornings, sponsored walks and bag packing.

We would like to thank all of the staff at Morrisons for allowing us to have this opportunity and are very grateful of your support.  We would like to mention that the staff were very welcoming and helped to make our pupils feel at ease.

We would also like to thank all of your customers.  Their kindness and generosity were greatly appreciated and we are delighted to say that we raised £500.83.  All of the money will be donated to charity.
