East Renfrewshire Secondary Games Champions 2014

St Ninian’s High School’s astonishing year of sportining success continued last week as we were crowned champions of the first ever East Renfrewshire Secondary Games which took place on Wednesday 11 June at Eastwood High School Sport Centre, Whitecraigs Rugby Club and Mearns Bowling Club.

Teams from across East Renfrewshire schools competed for medals in Athletics, Swimming, Netball, Table Tennis, Lawn Bowls, Squash, Rugby and Hockey.  Medals were awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams and points were given to each school depending on their placing in the events.

At the end of the day a closing ceremony took place with Kevin Moran (Scottish International Squash player) presenting St Ninian’s High School with the trophy.

A massive well done to all pupils who participated and thanks to Miss McQueen for organising our team.

Full results will be postsed in the Week Ahead which will be posted on the school website on Monday.
