The cost of primary school meals is £2.10.
All children in primary 1 to 5 receive free school meals. If your child is in primary 6 or above, find out if you qualify for free school meals and clothing grants.
All meals include:
- a starter and dessert of the day
- a drink option including milk or water
- chunchy veg of mixed peppers, baby corn, cucumber, carrot batons and cherry tomatoes

Primary 1 to 7 lunch menu – East Renfrewshire Council
If your child needs a special diet for medical reasons, you should pick up a medically prescribed diet registration form and send this with a letter from a medical professional confirming the details of the diagnosis to the school office.
For pupils wishing to access the Halal menu, then a Cultural Diet Request Form should be completed.
For any pupils wishing to access the vegan or vegetarian menu, then a lifestyle request form should be completed.
Once you’ve submitted the appropriate form to the school office, you’ll be contacted by a member of the catering team to discuss your child’s dietary needs to ensure a suitable meal is provided.
Please note, it’s your responsibility to tell the school about changes in your child’s dietary needs.
