The school take a pro-active and flexible approach, which allows us to work together to deliver the best possible career information, advice and guidance services to pupils. As part of Scotland’s careers service, I work with pupils one-to-one, in classes and at school events, as well as offering support to parents and carers. As a result , pupils across all year groups are building the career management skills they need to make informed decisions about their career, now and in the future.”

Skills Development Scotland offers careers advice, guidance and information to pupils in school, and to people of all ages in Scotland. Skills Development Scotland can offer free and impartial advice on education, training, careers and jobs.

Joe McCrystal is the Careers Adviser for St Luke’s High School.
Joe is in school for interviews on Mondays, Wednesday PM, Thursdays and Fridays. Our Careers Advisers offer pupils group sessions, drop-in lunchtime clinics and face-to-face coaching, where appropriate.
