Higher Human Biology Tasks for the holiday
Our S5/6 Higher Human Biology students have been issued with a number of set tasks to be completed over the holiday period and they have also been provided with guidance on revision for the Unit 2 NAB. This will be during the week ending 25th January. The tasks and guidance are detailed below.
Set tasks
1. Review notes on “Delivery of Nutrients”
2. Complete TYK pg 169 (in sentences)
3. Complete TYK pg 172 (in sentences)
4. Complete What You Should Know – pg 185/186
Guidance for revision for Unit 2 NAB
Chapters 15-22 have been covered so far.
Chapters 23-24 will be covered after the holiday.
Pupils should review all work covered so far using summary sheets and textbook.
Pupils have been issued with a sheet that identifies past paper questions on each topic.
Pupils have been issued with the 2004 past paper and should complete the appropriate questions from it.
Any other questions pupils complete can be handed in for correction.
Pupils should be working hard to prepare themselves for the Unit 2 NAB and prelim exam which will be on Units 1 and 2.
