Primary 3 classes are pleased to invite you to their Egyptian Showcase on the following dates:
P3A/B Tuesday 5th November
P3C/D Wednesday 6th November
Both performances will start at 2pm.
We should be grateful if you could provide your child with a very simple costume, to be in school by Friday 1st November. The costume should be brought to school in a plastic bag clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Suggested Costumes – please feel free to adapt!
Narrators children’s own choice of costume e.g. a mummy, hieroglyphic, god/goddess, slave etc
Canopic Jars any coloured t-shirt and trousers, a tunic over the top e.g. a curtain/sheet with hole in middle for head
Hieroglyphics as Canopic Jars
Mummies white t-shirt, white trousers or leggings patched with bits of bandages and a roll of bandage for head
Dancers t-shirt, leggings and short skirt (any colour of your choice) and a length of matching ribbon to tie around each wrist (e.g. 2 x one metre lengths)
Gods/Goddesses white t-shirt and trousers or leggings (or white dress)
Lord Carnarvon long trousers, shirt and bow-tie (or tie) or any traditional attire of your choice

King Tut regal outfit and head-dress if possible
In addition, collars and/or headbands will be provided where appropriate.
