The pupils of Our Lady of the Missions Primary School are now ‘Guinness World Record’ holders!

Congratulations and thanks to every one of you for getting involved. The outstanding support of pupils, staff, parents, volunteers, local businesses and clubs made this possible.

Our official record is 887 people playing the world’s largest game of Musical Bumps! An outstanding achievement and in the process you raised almost £12k for school funds. The official certificate is on its way and will be proudly displayed in the school as soon as we receive it!

Children will be issued with individual certificates before the end of this summer term.

Special thanks to the following businesses without whom this would not have been possible:

  • Provost Jim Fletcher – for starting the proceedings and presenting the cup
  • Michael Healy – for filming
  • Cameron Presentations – for equipment loan and extensive support with Video Footage
  • Arnold Clark and Harry Fairbairn – for releasing staff to support us on the day
  • Orchard Park Hotel – for releasing staff to support us on the day
  • Mr Alan Denholm – for providing Scaffolding
  • St Ninians and Woodfarm High Schools for providing equipment, pupils and premises
  • Eastwood Rotary Club – for providing volunteers for judging
  • Newlands Tennis Club – for providing equipment
  • Giffnock Soccer Centre – for providing equipment

Many thanks to you all from your Guinness World Record team!
