Dear Parents/carers,
As we continue to prepare your child for their Sacraments this year here are the final dates for your diaries.
St Joseph’s Parish
Mass of Enrolment
On the weekend of the 10th/11th February children should enrol for the Sacraments that they wish to receive during Lent and Eastertide. They do this before their Parish Community at either the Saturday vigil mass, or any of the Sunday masses. Children sit with their families and, when asked to do so, go forward to receive a copy of the prayer, the Our Father, from the priest.
Reconciliation
This will take place during a Penitential Service on Wednesday 15th February at 7pm. Children should wear their full school uniform. They sit with their class.
First Communion
This will take place on 19th May. P4a and 4d at 10am, P4b and 4c at 12 noon.
Mass of Thanksgiving
Children, parents and families are invited to attend a Mass of Thanksgiving on 20th May at 10am mass.
St Vincent’s Parish
Mass of Enrolment
On the 21st February children should enrol for the Sacraments that they wish to receive during Lent and Eastertide. They do this before their Parish Community at the Sunday Mass. Children sit with their families and, when asked to do so, go forward with their card and give this to Father Hill. Alternatively please hand the card into the school office. Please refer to letter already sent for full details of Sacramental preparation at St Vincent’s Parish.
Reconciliation
This will take place during a Penitential Service on:
P4a and P4b Tuesday 13th March at 7pm
P4c and P4d Wednesday 14th March at 7pm
Children should wear their full school uniform. Children sit with their class.
First Communion
This will take place on 19th May at 10am mass.
