We have arranged a visit to tour our original school home, Holmwood House in Cathcart.
The children have been studying the Katy Morag stories and have been invited to make a “Tattie Bogle” which will be displayed in the Victorian garden at Holmwood House.
On our visit, the children will take part in activities including a craft session and a mini trail of the house and garden. Weather permitting, we shall have lunch and games outside.
Children can wear their own casual clothes to school, dressing up as a character from the story, if you wish!
Children should bring a packed lunch, labelled and in a plastic bag for ease of disposal
Cost of the trip is £2 towards transport and entrance fee, the remainder being subsidised by the P.S.A.
There is a shop in the house and if you wish your child to buy a small souvenir, we would recommend a maximum of £2, please send it into school in an envelope, labelled with your child’s name
If there are any changes to medical conditions / medications from the medical consent form you completed at the beginning of this session, please inform the school office.
Any parent with an East Renfrewshire Disclosure /PVG Certificate who wishes to accompany the class please indicate on the attached slip.
