The Eco Committee have taken delivery of 
two WEEE recycling boxes which are ready to be filled with small electronic items. These boxes will be stored outside the school office. A small electrical item is something smaller than a typical microwave that operates using a mains plug or batteries. Few examples include, DVD players, laptops, kettles, toasters, mobile phones and hair dryers. For your own peace of mind and legal data responsibilities you should destroy data stored on items prior to disposing of any data bearing IT equipment. So why not take the opportunity to clear out your old electrical and IT items and have them securely and responsibly recycled at our school and then sent onto East Renfrewshire Recycling Centre.
