A reminder that Fri 18th September, we are taking part in “Jeans for Genes Day”.
Staff and pupils can pay £1 to wear jeans to school, (or something comfortable).

This afternoon we welcomed pupils from St Joseph’s and Busby primary schools to our whole school assembly.
They presented a cheque to the school for £240.
The girls raised the money during the summer holidays by holding a tombola, cake stall, arts & crafts and lots of other activities.
They certainly put their holiday to good use.
As a token of our appreciation Mr Whyte presented the 3 sets of sisters with a special personalised plaque to keep and a thank you letter from the head teacher.
What a great achievement girls and everyone at Isobel Mair School say a great big thank you to you all!
Our Lochgoilhead reunion will take place on Thursday10th at 7pm. A multimedia presentation will be shown, sharing our experiences.
We look forward to seeing everyone.
Our Head Girl, Sara & some of the senior pupils attended a meeting at the Education offices this morning to discuss the recent Lochgoilhead trip.
We showed a short DVD highlighting the event and the pupils answered some questions about their experience.
Thank You to Ronan and Rachel from St Ninian’s High school who also attended the meeting.
On Sunday 30 August, a few of our pupils will receive the sacrament of confirmation at St Peters Church, 2pm supported by SPRED — Special Religious Education in the Diocese.

Good Luck to one of our senior pupils, Amy Clark who is taking part in the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles.
Amy will take part in the rhythmic gymnastics.

Our school prom for senior pupils will take place on Tuesday 23rd June at 7pm.
Photographs will be taken and we will have our very own photo booth throughout the evening so you can strike a pose.

Come join us tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd June for our end of term service to say farewell to 3 of our 6th year pupils, Euan Murphy, Fraser Marchand and our Head Boy Michael Di Paola.
We will be celebrating their achievements and memories of their time at school.

Thank you to Edna Campbell, Councillors and other visitors for attending our tree planting event at the school.
We were unable to take the tree from our old school and members from the local community who planted the tree in 1991 wanted to help us plant another one.
This was arranged via Councillor Miller and Head of Environment.
Our Head Boy, Michael di Paola assited Edna in planting the new tree which is next to the tree planted by HRH Prince Edward.

Congratulations to Class Arran on winning an #ERedawards last night for an interactive SQA story ‘Stig of the Dump’.
6th Year pupil Euan Murphy represented his class with Head Teacher, Mrs Clark and collected the award on behalf on the class.
On Friday 19th June, Edna Campbell who planted a tree in our old school in 1991 has been invited to come celebrate with us and help plant another tree in our new school.
This momentous event will take place, Frid 19th June at 11.00 AM.
We are delighted to announce that our ex Head Teacher, Mrs Mari Wallace has been awarded an MBE in the recent Queen’s Birthday Honours 2015 for her services to education.
We are all delighted to hear the wonderful news and look forward to hearing all about the ceremony.

Senior pupils are about to head off for an exciting, fun and interactive day at Dynamic Earth.

Some of our senior pupils are visiting Caledonian University this afternoon.
They will have lunch in the refrectory and take part in a workshop designing games and then have a tour of the campus.
We are supporting Superhero Day on Friday 15th May!
All Staff & pupils are encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero or wear a onesie and pay £1 towards helping Cash for Kids charity event.
We will have lots of fun activities taking place throughout the day…..
Our Superhero day will end with a whole school assembly.
