Class Orkney really enjoyed their trip to the supermarket today.
They scanned the shopping, ordered food and drinks, sat together and enjoyed snack.
They even met some pupils from the Family Centre pupils who were on an outing too!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Harvest service and sensory activities this morning. Everyone had great fun and lots of learning experiences.
The morning began with some sensory activities, including fire pit, sensory story and a treasure hunt.

Join us on Tuesday 10th October, 10:30am for Harvest Celebrations in the MOD.
There will be a slideshow, short blessing followed by tea/coffee in Teenscene.
Pupils will be involved in outdoor Harvest learning experiences throughout the morning.
As rain is forecast please ensure pupils wear appropriate outdoor clothing.

The Parent Council AGM will now take place on Wednesday 1st November 7pm.

Senior pupils have started an ICT/Communication Club have been working with one of the GLOW 365 apps, Yammer.
They are so excited to be using this app and connect with their friends and be able to chat, discuss and tackle homework tasks. (pupils said it was a bit like Facebook)
O was so pleased when our Head Teacher, Mrs Clark replied to him……….. his smile said it all.
Parents of senior pupils are invited to join us on Friday 29th September, 2pm for the Head Boy, Girl and ambassador ceremony.

Class Orkney had a great learning experience yesterday with Eileen, the Yoga specialist.
Eileen introduced the pupils to some exercises which are fun, educational, physical and progressive.
Yoga enhances physical flexibility and promotes physical strength. It develops focus, concentration and encourages pupils to focus on the physical effort.
