Class Blog 28.02.20

This week, we asked Primary 5a what they enjoyed learning about.  Here is what they said:

Class Blog

Joseph- The navy came and showed us some of their equipment.  They gave us a tour of their boat and we got to try their VR headsets.  (Charlotte) One of the stations demonstrated how an engineer on the boat would fix a leak in an air pipe.  We had a test of strength when we tried to close the pistons. (Adam H) They also showed us spheros and we learned how to make them jump around and animate them.

(Elise) In P.E. we played a game that when we had to pass the ball to each other and header it on the side of the fence to score a point.

(Ailsa) With Ms Eddie we made mindfulness bottles, we mixed water and glue and glitter glue and we used glitter to decorate.

(Harry) Today we have a special menu for lunch in celebration of international learning day.

(Ruby) In the class, we got Nessy spelling fixed. So some people got a chance to do it at the beginning of literacy.

(Julia) In social studies, we were learning about the Clyde and how it has been polluted since 1918-2010.  Nowadays it is less polluted. (Noor) We made posters about The Clyde and had the chance to finish these off.

(Abbie P) In Big Writing we made Valentines poems. I wrote mine to my little sister.

(Eilidh P) Today, the Brownies, Cubs, Scouts, Beavers, Guides and Rainbows got to wear their uniforms because on the 22nd it was the birthday of Lord and Lady Badenborfer.

(Joseph) This week we are sad to be losing Sabre for 2 whole months as he goes back to New Zealand.  Have a great holiday Sabre J
