EWHCF Class of 2021

P5a Blog – World Book Day Special!

Thursday was World Book Day and we took part in lots of different activities to celebrate this.

In the morning we took part in paired reading with Primary 2s. It was fun and nice to have an opportunity to read out loud and share a story.

All of the classes in the school wrote a part of a story which got passed all the way from Primary 1 to Primary 7. It was read over the tannoy at the end of the day. We really enjoyed hearing the story once it had been put together.

In Literacy, we worked in groups named after books. We took part in a quiz and earned points for answering questions and working well together!

There was also a treasure hunt around the school to find a letters that would spell out a word. We look forward to finding out the winner.

In PE we have continued to develop our skills for badminton. We have been doing rallies and keepy-ups to improve our co-ordination and ability to aim at targets.
