We have had a lovely week in school and have been learning lots of new things.

Daniyal has been learning about beavers on the Wild about Scotland bus. He was finding out about food chains; he had to match pictures of the food that beavers eat. Tom was also on the bus and he saw four  laminated footprints of different animals. He identified the red deer, the otter and the wild cat.

Olivia has learned to count up money to 84p using the exact coins. This was in Problem Solving. Christopher has used a textbook in maths for the first time. He had to copy calculations into his jotter. He had to remember to put the units in the units column and the tens in the tens. He was happy with his work. Ruairidh also used a textbook for the first time. He remembered to keep one number in each box – well done boys!

Beth had to answer questions from a book; she had to answer in sentences. She remembered that her sentences had to make sense.
