The Eco Committee and Cross Arthurlie Primary are delighted to announce that they have been awarded Green Flag status by Eco-Schools Scotland.

Tesco Bags of Help Winners!
Thank you everyone who voted in the Tesco Bags of Help Campaign. We really appreciate your support.
Cross Arthurlie came 2nd in the voting process and will receive £10,000 to transform the school grounds over the next year!
We are delighted to receive the funding and it will really make a difference to our school and community.

Primary 5 – Residential Trip
News from Mrs Mitchell, depending on traffic they should be at the school around 3.15pm. Please could all parents/carers collect pupils from the gym hall and not straight off the bus.

The coach left Belmont Centre at 1.01pm and we have not heard yet what exact time they will be back. We will send a text out as soon as we know.

All good at Belmont Centre. It is raining but this won’t put them off, they had a great breakfast and just getting ready for their activities. The coach is picking them up at 1.00pm and they should be back at school between 3/3.30pm. We will text during the afternoon with a more accurate arrival time.

All good from Belmont Centre this morning, it is a beautiful morning. After a good night, they have had a fab breakfast and are all set for their activities. There is lots of mud, laughs and mess!

All arrived safely. They are having a laugh making their beds. Weather is dry with no snow and after lunch will be enjoying some of their activities.

TESCO BARRHEAD, NEWTON MEARNS AND CLARKSTON will be supplied with a voting unit and customers will be given a token, with every transaction, to vote for their preferred community project over the course of a nine-day period, from Saturday 27th February 2016 until Sunday 6th March 2016. All votes will take place in store.

Tesco & Greenspace
We’re delighted to announce that we will receive funding from Tesco and Greenspace through their Bags of Help initiative.
However, we need your help! Please vote in-store at TESCO BARRHEAD, CLARKSTON EXPRESS, NEWTON MEARNS EXPRESS from 27 February until 6 March.
Tesco has teamed up with Greenspace Scotland to launch its Bags of Help initiative in Scotland. The scheme will see three community groups and projects in each of these regions awarded grants of £12,000, £10,000 and £8,000 – all raised from the 5p bag charge.
Bags of Help offers community groups and projects in each of Tesco’s regions across the UK a share of revenue generated from the five pence charge levied on single-use carrier bags. The public will now vote in store from 27 February until 6 March on who should receive the £12,000, £10,000 and £8,000 awards.
