Edinburgh Book Festival
All of the classes from P1 to P6 thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the school gala day at the Edinburgh Book Festival. The children had the opportunity of visiting a workshop lead by one of four authors: Catherine Raynor, Emma Barnes, Kate O’Hearn or Barbara Mitchell. We were also entertained by jugglers, Horrid Henry and various story tellers.

The Outdoor classroom has now been fixed into the playground. A huge thank you to all the parents that supported the school by completing the grant application. At the beginning of March, we are hoping to have the flooring and benches added. All the children and many parents are enjoying the addition to the playground.

Another busy day. Some of the groups were gorge walking, taking part in more team challenges and canoeing – as well as spending some time relaxing!
