As advised in our information leaflet ParentPay, the new online payment system is being introduce to Busby Primary School.
Please ensure sufficient funds are available in your childs lunch account to last until Thursday 13th October. If you currently use our online payment system Payments4Schools this will only be in operation until the end of day on Friday 7th October. Pupils may still credit their lunch account via the reval machine located in the school.
You will be issued with an activation letter soon advising how to register for a ParentPay account. All parents/carers are requested to register as the school office will become cashless, you will however still have the facility to credit your child’s lunch account only via the reval machine in the school.
Below is further information advising you on the new ParentPay which should be available from 17 October for school meals only. Trips taking place after the school holiday will be added then.
This system has been piloted within the authority and is proving very popular with parents. We are confident you will be pleased with the benefits it will provide.

Today our Energy Enforcers called into all the classes to give a talk on how to be energy efficient within the school. Using a PowerPoint, they reminded pupils of our responsibilities in minimising the amount of energy we use every day. Well done for spreading the Eco Message and helping to keep Busby as environmentally friendly as possible!
Today, our Pupil Sports Leaders, presented to the P1 parents a variety of different games, sports and activities that they could try out with their children. The session started with a presentation from our Active Schools Co-ordinator, Lesley Birrell Palmer and our PE Specialist Laura Kerr. There was the a practical workshop outdoors in the playground, where all P1 pupils loved participating with the adults.
The fantastic session concluded with parents and pupils eating and chatting together in the school lunch hall, having the opportunity to sample the menu from ERC Catering and also the daily routines.
We would like to thank Giffnock Soccer Centre, who have donated 25 footballs, bibs and floor markers to the school. We will make sure to make fantastic use of this kind gift.
Every child has been issued with a timetable of clubs for this session.
