The Faculty of Engineering at Strathclyde University has launched two new Upskilling courses for students considering a degree in engineering.
The courses are free, all online and have a flexible start and end date, although students must ensure they complete the modules by the 15th July 2022.

Did you know, if you’re aged 16-21 and already have a valid National Entitlement Card (NEC) or Young Scot NEC, you can now download free bus travel onto your existing card using the Transport Scot Pass Collect app? This means you may not need to apply for a replacement.
Watch the video to learn how to use the app or visit Transport Scotland’s website to find out more about the Young Persons’ Free Bus Travel scheme and other ways to apply.
Educational Psychology Service will be facilitating a one-hour session for parents and carers of pupils in s4, 5, 6 who are completing National Qualifications this year. The aim of the session will be to normalise the experiences and emotions of young people, as they juggle the demands of exams and qualifications with the changes and disruption that they have experienced throughout the pandemic. There will also be an exploration of strategies to reduce anxiety levels, and a focus on how parents can best support their child throughout this time.
Parents and carers can register for the session at the following link by 21st March: https://forms.office.com/r/ZJDm0fK5hJ. You can also submit questions which will be answered during a Q and A at the end of the session.
A flyer providing all the relevant information is below and we will be tweeting about the event from our twitter account @EastRenEPS.
