In class 7.26 we have been focusing on WW2. For our homework we had to create an Anderson Shelter. It had to have sandbags and a garden. Our shelter had to hold 1kg and had to be waterproof. It also had to be fit for a Lego man. Everyone’s looked great and some people even had an underground base in theirs! Please take a look at some of our shelters
Today primary 7.26 performed their class assembly on ‘Anti-Bullying’. Please remember to always be kind .

I have brought in my great grandpas cap badge from ww2. The meaning behind the skull and crossed bones is “death or glory”. My grandpa earned it at the end of ww2 when it had finished.

Today, Dr Allan visited us in class to talk about the British Heart Foundation . He is a researcher for this charity. He was happy to answer all of our questions, including some tricky ones!
