Anderson Shelters

In class 7.26 we have been focusing on WW2. For our homework we had to create an Anderson Shelter. It had to have sandbags and a garden. Our shelter had to hold 1kg and had to be waterproof. It also had to be fit for a Lego man. Everyone’s looked great and some people even had an underground base in theirs! Please take a look at some of our shelters 😃

WW2 Cap Badge

I have brought in my great grandpas cap badge from ww2. The meaning behind the skull and crossed bones is “death or glory”. My grandpa earned it at the end of ww2 when it had finished.
