We we enjoyed getting to make our own boats from recycled materials. We had to use our knowledge of boats and our previous learning of floating and sinking to make a boat that would be water worthy.
We have been learning to answer questions on a text. We used highlighters to locate the information in the text that would help us answer the questions.

Well done to both of the girls who represented Primary 2.7 and their houses in the Burns house challenge. Well done to Aarohi who won 2nd place for her house!
We have enjoyed getting to use a variety of different coins to make different totals. We found that getting to use the coins developed our confidence when completing our written tasks.
We really enjoyed learning and playing the different games that Primary 7.28 made for us. We got to use lots of different skills such as throwing, catching and sprinting.
We really enjoyed making our pumpkins because we got to work together and help each other.
Homework will be handed out on a Monday and should be returned on a Friday. All homework tasks will be written into your child’s homework diary. Homework will be written in diaries using abbreviations. Each abbreviation links to a different homework task:
S- spelling
M- maths
R- reading
P- phonics
Homework should be returned to school in the homework folder to keep everything together. If you have any questions please just write a note in your child’s homework diary!
