Well done to both of the girls who represented Primary 2.7 and their houses in the Burns house challenge. Well done to Aarohi who won 2nd place for her house!
We really enjoyed visiting the library and getting to choose different books to read. We learnt all about the library system in Mearns Primary and the importance of reading the blurb of a book before starting to read it.
We have enjoyed writing thank you letters to Jangle the elf for coming to our class. We have learnt how to lay out a letter correctly and include lots of information.
We have enjoyed trying to complete the number square challenge. In order to compete the challenge we had to use our knowledge of numbers to 100, numbers before and numbers after.
We have enjoyed creating our own bar charts. We voted for our favourite pets and used this information to create our bar chart. We answered questions on the information that we could see displayed.
We have enjoyed getting to use a variety of different coins to make different totals. We found that getting to use the coins developed our confidence when completing our written tasks.
We enjoyed getting to use lots of different activities with our spelling words and words with our sounds.
We really enjoyed learning and playing the different games that Primary 7.28 made for us. We got to use lots of different skills such as throwing, catching and sprinting.
What an amazing poster about the importance of picking up litter! There will be no litter bugs in Primary 2.7.
We really enjoyed making our pumpkins because we got to work together and help each other.
