Firstly, we went to see Sleeping Beauty in the gym hall .

Secondly, we went to the street where we had an author visit.

Then we had a extended break which lead up to lunch.

After eating our lunch we went to the Spark Park Fundraiser.

It was great fun!

We have been learning about racism and black history. We have learned that Britain was racist and many rich people had plantations which grew with tobacco, sugar and cotton. African people were stolen away from their homes and forced to the West Indies where they made to be slaves.

We also learned about when slavery was abolished in Scotland and abroad.  We put the dates in order in a timeline.

In netball we have been learning how to shoot and pass the ball. We have also been learning the positions, that it is a very fast game and we have also been learning how to land and pivot.
