Homework for January
The strategy to practice for times tables work this month is to use linking times tables – 2x, 4x and 8x 3x and 6x 5x and 10 times

Homework in P6/7 will be a grid of learning across the curriculum.
Children will be encouraged to choose the homework tasks which best suits them and their learning needs. Whilst homework tasks will not be handed in, these can be shared if your child chooses. Any word documents or PowerPoints lend well to this type of peer sharing.

Spelling lists are as follows. Children can choose the set of words they wish to practice.
Green will generally be level 2.1, purple level 2.2 and blue is level 2.3 but children will be at different levels depending on reading abilities and phoneme knowledge. We will determine which level is best through assessments at school. However, as ever, I am happy for children to challenge themselves.
