We are now underway with our online Giglets reading. Check school bags for login details and do some reading and different tasks allocated to you.
Wow! What incredible costumes!

We began the day with a whole school Halloween parade.

Next P6/7 had a fun session with their P1/2 buddies doing a variety of Halloween activities.

Our afternoon began with the judging of the Pumpkins by our Pupil Council.

We ended the day with dooking for apples and our Halloween parties, which included great spooky music, dancing and party games. It is safe to say that great fun was had by all.
Our P7 pupils were delighted today to receive their leavers goodies.

What fun to have free play with our P1/2 children today!!! I think our senior pupils had just as much fun (or maybe even more) as their younger buddies. Charlotte was sooo funny when reading, “The Wonky Donkey”!!

Strings session this morning with Mrs M-J exploring the a and d strings using music notation. We learned about crochets and quavers and how these fit into the beat of the music.

In numeracy this week P6/7 have been learning to partition and expand multi-digit numbers. They were required to identify the value of each digit within these large numbers.

We have also been plotting numbers on a numberline. Each pair had to decide on a number range and then challenge their learning buddy to identify given number positions.

We worked on estimation through rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000. Some children also had a go using decimal numbers to round to the nearest 10th, 100th or whole number.
