Happy Friday everyone!

I would like to thank all pupils for their hard work and dedication this year.  We have had a fantastic year and it was topped off with an amazing school trip on Wednesday!

Best of luck to all pupils heading into P6 and P7. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you becoming the best versions of yourselves!

Health Week

The pupils in P5/6 have thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Health Week this week!

They loved participating in laser tag and a silent disco organised by our Active Schools Coordinator Barry. As well as this, the pupils enjoyed taking part in football activities organised by Kilmarnock Football Club.

Our P6 pupils were also responsible for leading health and wellbeing activities as part of Health Week.

Finally, our pupils showed their support for Scotland and wished them well in the Euros!

P6 Water Safety Day

Today, our P6 pupils visited Loch Doon for a water safety day.

They met with a Loch Doon Ranger who discussed various hazards that pupils should be aware of when visiting places with water.

They also learned how to throw a line and deliver CPR, valuable skills needed for life threatening situations.

Additionally, the pupils met with police to discuss the importance of looking after our environment and explored various aspects of wildlife crime.
