Term 4 – Week 4!

This week we continued with our persuasive writing, although our focus changed to persuading someone at home to get us a new pet. Some pupils researched the cost of the animal they wanted to help boost their argument that pets are not too expensive, however others were shocked at the prices of their desired pets. We had a wide variety of wanted pets; dogs, cats, rabbits, bearded dragons and an axolotl.

We are still continuing with our fractions topic and this week we began to look at equivalent fractions. We started by making our own fraction walls which we then later used to help us figure out some equivalent fractions.

This week for R.E we read the story The Call of David. This led to some good discussion about the quote ‘never judge a book by its cover’. We then completed a sequencing activity in which we had to put the story in the correct order.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
