Today is National Dinosaur Day and we had a great time celebrating this as it links to our topic. We started off the day by watching a video about dinosaurs and our job was to listen for key information and answer questions.
Did you know that dinosaur actually means terrible lizard? 🤔
We then did a dinosaur quiz. We had to try and name the dinosaur. It was great fun!
We also had another chance to work on our research skills. We used the Chromebooks to research facts about dinosaurs and used these facts to make information leaflets. We even drew pictures that linked to what we had written. Here are some pics of us in action:
