As part of Health Week, we were lucky to have a rugby session with Cumnock Rugby club. We really enjoyed playing the games and want to say a big thank you to the Rugby Club! 

Today is National Dinosaur Day and we had a great time celebrating this as it links to our topic. We started off the day by watching a video about dinosaurs and our job was to listen for key information and answer questions.
Did you know that dinosaur actually means terrible lizard? 🤔

We then did a dinosaur quiz. We had to try and name the dinosaur. It was great fun!

We also had another chance to work on our research skills. We used the Chromebooks to research facts about dinosaurs and used these facts to make information leaflets. We even drew pictures that linked to what we had written.  Here are some pics of us in action:

Please remember (if possible( can you bring a healthy snack to school this week. 

Next week is Health Week at Lochnorris!
Pupils can wear their sports clothes all week as we will be doing various activities.

Due to the bad weather last week we postponed our Outdoor Classroom Day until today. We were out in the glorious sunshine creating artwork using natural materials from around the playground. We gathered leaves, sticks, petals and stones to use to create a picture. We had great fun and our pictures were amazing!
