We have been getting in to the spooky spirit by creating skeleton hand x-rays art. We used oil pastels to create our artwork with a focus on the elements of shade and highlight. Using a darker colour to add shade and a white to highlight. We think they look spooktacular!
As part of our new topic ‘Why should we change the way we travel?’ P3/4 had a go at organising modes of transport from the oldest to the newest. Some of the ages of the modes of transport really surprised us. Here we are in action:
We have been learning about being healthy and having a balanced diet. We learnt about the 5 food groups and the benefits they have to the body. We had a go at creating our own healthy meal. We drew what we wanted to include and added them to the dinner plate. We even used QR codes to record ourselves saying what was on our plate. Have a look:

We were working on our talking and listening skills by playing a team work game. One person sat with their back to the board while the other person described the picture they could see. If the description was good the partner would have drawn the same picture as the one on the board. We had a great laugh!

Welcome to the P3/4 class blog. We will use the blog to try and keep you up to date with our learning at school. We will also post any information and monthly homework on the blog so keep your eyes peeled for that! We are looking forward to a great year in P3/4!
Our PE days are a Monday and Friday. Please make sure that children have shorts/leggings and a pair of gym shoes to change in to on these days. ALL jewellery must be removed to participate.
