Our P6/7 sportshall athletics team had great fun at Robert Burns Academy today. They performed brilliantly and are looking forward to hearing if they have progressed to the next stage of the competition.

On Monday 16th December Primary 6/7 will be experiencing a “Victorian school morning”. Pupils can come dressed for this event but bring normal school clothes to change into.

**Please note that Just Jeans, at Unit 23 Highhouse Industrial Estate Auchinleck, is having a 50% discount on all school wear starting on 5th November. Just Jeans is one of our suppliers of school uniform so if you wish to stock up in advance this is a good chance to get a bargain!
Primary 6/7 have been looking carefully at pumpkins. We drew and shaded one and then made one from material – life skills of sewing started!!

Christmas Lunch – Friday 13th December
The menu for the school’s Christmas Lunch has now been uploaded onto ParentPay. Please order your child’s Christmas Lunch as soon as possible to help the catering staff make preparations. If you have any issues ordering a lunch, please contact the school office.

All Primary 7 pupils transferring to Robert Burns Academy in August 2025 will attend two transition days in June 2025. Dates for your diary are the 10th and 11th June 2025. Any pupil taking part in this session’s Enhanced Transition programme will be issued a calendar of dates in a separate letter.
Staff from the Academy have already visited the P7s and will be making further visits to meet the children throughout the session.
Parents of all P7 pupils will be invited to attend an Information Evening on the 26th May 2025. Further information will follow.
Thank you very much to everyone who kindly donated food items at our Harvest Hoe-Down. The donations have been given to local churches’ Food Banks for distribution to families in need.
To raise funds for the school there will be a variety of old library books available to purchase for a small donation that can be paid through ParentPay.
