Welcome Back and Dates for Your Diary
Please look out for a letter in your child’s school bag today welcoming all to the 2026/2027 session and outlining some key dates for the months ahead.
Please keep an eye on the app and the blog for further details and updates on our activities this session.

PE Days
For our first week back to school, the following times will be the PE sessions for each class:
- P1/2 – Thursday 10:50am – 11:50am
- P3/4 – Friday 10:50am – 11:50am
- P5/6 – Friday 1.30pm – 2:30pm
- P6/7 – Thursday 1:30pm – 2:30pm
A finalised timetable will follow shortly.

Last Day of 2025/2026 – Friday 26/6/26
With the Summer Holidays fast approaching, please note that the school will close at 1pm tomorrow.
Early lunches of soup and sandwiches will be offered to pupils before the early finish.
Pupils who access school transport will be collected at the earlier time of 12:25pm.
Any medication held at school will need to be signed out by a parent / guardian before the holidays.
There are also a few pottery creations to be collected from school too. For safe transport home, you can either send a box in with your child tomorrow or collect directly from the school.
School reopens for the 2026/2027 year on Wednesday 19th August 2026 at 8:50am.

!! Medication Collection – Important !!
Parents / carers of pupils who have medication held at school during term time are requested to collect all medication on Friday 26th June by 1pm before the start of the summer holidays.
Medicines cannot be sent home with your child, and will need to be signed out by a parent / guardian.

Sticky Fingers – Summer Programme
Pottery – Transportation Home
As part of our learning with Archaeology Scotland, the children have made clay pots.
To allow these to be taken home safely, can you please send your child into school with a shoe box, or similar sized box, to protect the pot on the way home.
Alternatively, you can collect the pot from school at home times.

Summer of ’76 Outdoor Fun & Face Painting Form

As part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations, the Parent Council are hosting a Summer of ’76 Outdoor Fun Day on Friday 19th June, on the pitch (weather permitting) from 1:30pm.
There is a fab selection of activities planned, including Beat the Goalie, Netball Shoot, Obstacle Course, Inflatable Fun, Circus Skills, Double Dutch and much more.
The Parent Council will also be offering face painting to our pupils; two designs, Flower Power or the Saltire. They will be using Snazaroo brand paints.
If you would like your child to have their face painted, please complete this form with your preference. Your child will not be able to have their face painted without parental / carer consent –

With us coming to the end of the 2025 / 2026 session, we are making sure our records are up to date and ready for the new year.
We are asking parents / carers to notify the school of any changes to the following personal details prior to the end of June:
- address,
- mobile / home and work telephone numbers,
- email addresses,
- emergency contact details, and
- medical updates.
