We are taking part in East Ayrshire’s, Journey to Jupiter initiative. As a school we are promoting healthy and active travel which will be rewarded in the form of S-miles. These S-miles are converted to actual miles and as an authority we need to reach a certain target, which is explained in the picture below.

You can earn S-miles by:

•   Walking, Cycling or Scooting to school
• Parking and Striding​
• ​Walking the daily mile circuit in the school

In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, our primary 7s and staff have been taking the public bus up to Loudoun Academy for their swimming lessons. This has been a great success and despite 1 week of rain it has stayed nice and dry for the most part.
