ECC Inspection

We have received further correspondence this morning to notify us that the ECC will now be inspected week beginning 22nd of April along with school.  You can find out more about inspection, from the Inspection and review documentation pages of Education Scotland’s website.

As part of the inspection, Inspectors gather the views of stakeholders via an online survey which is available from https://forms.education.gov.scot/s/762UT/

I would like to encourage ALL ECC parents to now complete the survey.  Inspectors will also be meeting with groups of parents during the inspection so to be part of that discussion you should complete the survey with additional links provided to indicate your interest in taking part.

You should complete the survey by Friday 29th March.

Chat with Mrs McCracken

Chat with Mrs McCracken is back!  Come along to the school on Monday 25th of March at 1.45pm to be involved in this informal opportunity to talk about what is working in the school and what you would like to see change!

School Charter and Restorative Approaches

Primary 5/6 devised our school charter.  This will be reviewed over the remainder of this session and early next.  This charter lays out how we will all work together to respect our own rights and the rights of others,

Over the next week the children will learn more about Restorative Approaches – a new approach to how we manage certain incidents and difficulties in school – more information will be issued to parents soon,  WE hope to have an information session in school about this too.
