P4 – Lovely Presentation
We were using apostrophes to show possessive nouns. Look at this lovely handwriting.

P4 – Hello
As part of Languages Week Scotland we were learning how to say ‘hello’ in different languages. We had fun coming up with countries and their languages! We listened well so that we could repeat the words accurately.
P4 – Healthy Bodies
We were learning about the importance of water for our bodies. We read information sheets and recorded the benefits of drinking water. We shared what we had learned with the class.
A big well done to these children for remembering to add punctuation to their posters!
P4 – Football
We were outside today developing our football skills.
P4 – Morning 4
We recap on past learning every day with our ‘Morning 4’. These are 4 questions that allow the children to recall and use skills they have learned in passed terms.
P4 – Arrays
We were creating arrays to help us learn our 4 times table.
P4 – The Organs
We created a tabard showing our different organs. We labelled them. It looks like we have had a body scan!
We learned some basic facts about the organs and recorded these on the back of the tabard.
Tomorrow we are going to carry out some research and make a PowerPoint with the facts we learn.
P4 – Scots Writing
We have been working on the novel The Twits. As we were celebrating Burns Day yesterday we read a chapter from The Eejits.
We then wrote a summary of the chapter in Scots. We had Scots dictionaries and word cards to help us.
We then got the chance to read our summary to the class.
P4 – Silver Award
It was great to share what we have been doing at home to achieve our silver awards. We learned all about ways to conserve water and relaxation techniques people have been using.
All the silver award targets can be found in the wider achievement section. If you have missed a few you can work on them at any time. Our new targets for the fortnight will be added on Monday!
