We created puppets, wrote a script and performed it.

We used our ripping and sticking skills to create a snow scene collage. Can you spot Frosty the Snowman?

We created a Christmas tables game by writing questions on the tree and then hanging the baubles, with the answers on,  on top.

We used tally marks to gather information about our favourite Christmas characters and then used the data to create a bar graph.

The P4s are going to be filming the last part of their music video tomorrow and have created a little reminder for themselves of what they need to bring.  Please see below –

Today we watched a short video clip about St Andrew and answered some questions. We have been working on answering our questions in sentences.

This week we made a candle snowman and wrote a set of instructions. We made our snowman by listening to instructions from the teacher. While we were making it we made a list of time connectives and bossy (imperative) verbs  that the teacher used.

Today we completed an engineering challenge. We had to solve a problem for Sam. He needed a perch to sit safely on that was 20cm or more above the ground.

We used the 4 steps that all engineers use.

We worked together to create the perches.

We had lots of success!

Some groups took on the challenge of making their perch multi-level.

We have been learning to find and use imperative verbs. These are words that tell people what to do. We looked through instructions and found loads. We used a set of instructions to make a mini book and then filled it with verbs.

We have started a block of work on coding. We were using the BBC:Microbits and block code to write programs. We will continue to develop our skills next week.
