We played a game today that helped us to read and spell our words. We tossed the counter to see which kind of phoneme we were going to say and write. We then chose a word from the board to use.

We peer assessed the work of each person in our group and then decided which poster to present to the class. These are the poster chosen. We used the visualiser to show them on the promethean board.

Mrs Petrie chose a poster that she thought was creative and met all of the success criteria.

We were learning to create patterns and used our skills to create a lion.

We were playing swat. The first person to swat the right answer gets a point. The focus of our game was the 2 times table.

We have been learning the names of animals in French. We are getting good at saying the names and reading them. We completed a booklet today. Next week we are going to be learning the names of more animals and using our French to create and say sentences about animals.

We have been learning how to change the colour, font and size of text. We have also been learning how to make our presentations more interesting by adding in slide transitions and text animation. We now know how to duplicate images and change their shape and orientation.

We have been learning our 2 times tables and have been playing games to help us practise. We have also been using tens frames and plastic flowers to make groups of 2. We have started to link the 2 times table to doubles. We now know that 3×2 is the same as double 3 or 2×3.
