Primary 2MT have been learning about multiplying and dividing. We have learned about equal groups, how many in each group then using the multiplying sign to complete a calculation. We know the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. We are now learning about sharing using equal groups and counting how many in each group. This helps us understand number sentences for dividing. We are all enjoying our learning using counters and groups as you can see from the photographs. Our next step is dividing using the dividing sign.
