P2/3 World at Work

19^th – 23^rd January 2026 World of Work Week

As it is World of Work Week next week we were wondering if any of our parents would like to come in and talk to our class about their job. It would be a brief chat with only our class and then hopefully some questions from our pupils. We thought this would be a nice way of learning about a range of different jobs and our kids getting to ‘show off’ their family. Please let us know if you would be happy to come in and help us and when you are available throughout the week, and we will try our best to accommodate this.

Please find attached our poem we will be learning in class and as part of our homework, over the next few weeks. I have attached the poem and a link to listen to the poem too to practice at home. A paper copy will also be given out at school.
