Can you help Plop?
CfE Es and Os HWB 0-02a
Plop was afraid of the dark but speaking to his family and people he met helped him overcome his fears. If you met Plop and he said that he didn’t like the dark. What would you say to him?
Draw a picture of yourself and Plop talking. Your illustration should give clues about your answer to his question. In the book, the man with the telescope told Plop that, ‘Dark is wonderful.’ The picture shows a wonderful night sky. The black cat told Plop that, ‘Dark is beautiful.’ The picture shows the beautiful rooftops spread out in front of Plop and the cat.
