Weather and Cloud Gazing

The weather and clouds can be really fascinating…and unpredictable, especially in Scotland!

Today we are really lucky to share a video a video from one of our colleagues, Hannah Polland of the East Ayrshire Council TAP Team. Hannah has written and illustrated a lovely children’s story, Just Be, which explores and encourages mindfulness and she has kindly shared it with us.  It supports taking time to ‘just be’ when you are outdoors.  This means slowing down, using your senses and paying attention to the little things.

We have linked the video to some lessons and resources on cloud gazing and exploration of clouds and weather on our webpage:

Cloud Gazing and Mindfulness.

Thank you Hannah for sharing this resource with us!

As always please have a look at our website for more resources and ideas for learning at home. It is constantly being updated and populated with new ideas for all stages of learning, including ideas for learners with Additional Support Needs.
