A huge congratulations to our girls and boys Handball teams who came first pace in the Handball Festival at the Ayrshire College. They will now go on to represent East Ayrshire in the National Competition at Ravenscraig Sport Centre on the 28th March. Parents/carers are allowed to come and watch the event. We would like to thank our student helpers, Deco and Sam, from Ayrshire College for all their help in coaching the pupils at our afterschool club. Good job 👏 #goteamjimmy

Term 1 & 2 provided lots of exciting opportunities for our pupils to develop their sporting potential. We would like to thank all the staff and volunteers that were able to run a club. More info to follow of all the clubs that are being organised for Term 3.
Congratulations to Jayden in P3 who won the Great Attitude Award for PE Star of the month for November, and to Athena in P2 who won the Skills Award for the month of December. James and Blair from the Sports Committee were on hand to present the awards to our young stars 🌟
Congratulations to our P5 Basketball Team and to Deco and Samantha, our HND students, who came out in first place at the Basketball Festival hosted by the Ayrshire College. The students have been in working with our pupils during PE time and provided an after school club in preparation for the Festival. The pupils were over the moon to return with the trophy! Good job to all involved!
Well done to James from G5 who won the Sportsmanship Award for PE Star of the Month for October. Fallon from the Sports Committee was pleased to present the Award.
We would like to thank Kilmarnock Football Club for our Match Day Experience at Kilmarnock V Celtic. Primary 7 had chosen Sport as a topic to study in Term 1 and they had asked if they could attend a sporting event to which the club kindly agreed. This was a match day first for many of the pupils and they got to enjoy a Killie Pie and juice at half time. A great time was had by all, only pity was the score. Mr Shaw did however get to be Killie fan for the day and wear the new 3rd jersey 👌⚽️
We would like to congratulate our P7 and P6 Cross Country Teams who all finished in the top ten schools in the team events. Of special mention was Teyla from P6 who finished second in her race. We would like to thank Mrs Espie and Miss Walker for all their hard work on coaching the teams.
