A huge congratulations to our P7 Netball Team who came first place in the Netball Festival at the Ayrshire College. Special thanks to our two S6 Sports Leaders who provided an after school club for them to practice and coached them at the event on the day. The team played 6 matches drawing 3 and winning 3. What was so impressive is that they didn’t even concede a point in any match! #goteamjimmy 🙌🥇

West of Scotland Parasport Festival
One of our P4 pupils was participating at the Parasport Festival earlier today. This was a fantastic opportunity to network with local clubs and take part in lots of different activities. She had a great time and can’t wait to get back tell her class all about it and show them her Tik Tok of her day! High 🖐️

Our P5 Basketball Team were in action today at the Ayrshire College Festival. They come out victors winning all their games. Special thanks to the S6 Sports Leaders who were responsible for providing an after-school club and coaching them at the festival #goteamjimmy 🙌
Sportshall Athletics Final
Congratulations to our Athletics Team who finished 3rd overall in the final today. The pupils gave their all in an extremely close event with only 60 points separating all four finalists. Thank you for to everyone who was able to come along and offer their support. The pupils were great ambassadors for the school #goteamjimmy or in the words of the pupils “no Jimmy, no party” 🎉
Sporstshall Athletics Finals
We did it! We have qualified for the Sportshall Athletics finals for the second year running. JHPS finished 3rd overall out of the 25 schools that entered. We would like to thank the Parent Funding Group for the new Athletics resources that allowed us to practice for the event. The finals will take place at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena on Friday the 16th of February at 10am. We would love if the parents/carers of the pupils could come along and offer their support.
Sports Leaders
We would like to highlight the success of our new Sport Leaders, which we have been piloting this session. All P7’s have had an opportunity to help deliver PE to our P1 and P2 classes. This has helped not only develop their leadership skills in areas such as communication, leading and colloborating but has also allowed them to build relationships with our younger pupils, contributing to the nurturing ethos that we promote here at JHPS & SnaCN
