Silver Report and Next Steps for Gold
We received our official report from our Silver Accreditation Visit in December which you can find below. This outlines all the amazing work we are doing as a school and provides our next steps as we embark upon our journey to Gold next session.

Silver Accreditation
We did it!!!! We achieved our Silver Accreditation today after our virtual visit from our UNICEF Scotland Assessor. Thank you to all the pupils, staff and parents who have contributed to this achievement, it has been a huge piece of work but worth it,
We should receive our certificate and banner in the new year. Now onto Gold 🙂
Rights Respecting Schools Homework – wb 20th November 2023
This week, all pupils in school are taking part in RRS homework as part of World Children’s Day. Pupils are being asked to explore a variety of different articles to get them talking with adults at home about their rights. Homework can be found below.
World Children’s Day – 20th November 2023
Pupils will be participating in the national assembly with Scotland’s Children and Young People’s Commissioner. Details can be found in the flyer below.
Children in Need Assembly/Children in Need
Our Rights Buster’s will be presenting at our assemblies this week to raise awareness of the great work that Children in Need do to help children thrive and be the best they can be.
Pupils will take part in a rotation of Pudsey activities in classes on Friday 17th November along with taking part in our annual community walk with parents/carers to raise money.
Anti-Bullying Week – wb 12th November 2023
Pupils will be participating in a variety of activities this week to raise awareness of bullying. At JHPS and SnCN we continue to promote CRC and our school values – Safe, Kind, Respected.
