Some P6 children have indicated that they would like to take part in Cycling Proficiency lessons and test. To allow them to take part they must bring their bike to school on Wednesday 4th March to allow a representative from East Ayrshire Roads Alliance to carry out this safety check. This allows for any problems to be notified to you and rectified prior to the training starting on Wednesday 11th March, 3pm – 3.45pm. Interested children have been issued with letters regarding this today.
Primary 6 will be commencing Cycle Training very soon and we are short of helpers. If you could spare an hour on a Wednesday between 3pm – 4pm to supervise training, led by Mrs Fulton, this would be very much appreciated. There is no need to be a cyclist or have any specialist knowledge, this is a safety requirement as we are training on-road.
If you would like to become a cycle trainer, training is available, please let Mrs Fulton know.
Primary 5 (A,B & C) are learning ‘Carol of the Bells’. Please use attached link when learning it at home, as this is the one we are learning in school. Thank you 🙂
We recently took delivery of a Be the Nice Kid sign offered by Owen Kerr Signs. He has hand delivered this free of charge to all schools in East Ayrshire. We will proudly display this in our main entrance to support our school ethos.
Here are some of the Rights Busters accepting delivery of the beautiful sign. Thank you Owen!!!
Thank you to everyone who attended the Number Talks Information session. We were delighted with the turn out and hope to run this session again later in the school year. We will also be running more session covering other curricular areas.
We will take into account feedback about timing of the session to allow as many parents/carers to access this information and join in.
Once again, many thanks for you support, the children enjoyed welcoming parents/carers into their classrooms to share their learning.
Please find attached Parental Information Leaflet for your information.
